Seattle

I was lucky to get to go to Seattle the past week for the National Association of College Admissions Counseling annual conference. I had never been to Seattle, so this was a great opportunity. I love the city, it is beautiful, I just wish I had had more free time to explore outside the city! I got to see Eli, my childhood friend, and Marco, Lalita, and thier new baby Rowan!

UT

We went to campus today so Troy could get some photos of a building, we could not resist the Longhorn photo op...Phin loved it!

Dino Land

Today we went to DinoLand at the Botanical Gardens in Austin, Phin loved it, I think he really liked the fact that Sean & Piper, and Scott, Tatem, and Eliza joined us.

East Texas Weekend

We went to East Texas to visit Troy's family and meet Phin's new cousin OC. He loved to hold and feed OC...I was impressed with his gentleness.

O.C. ...and I'm not talkin Southern California

Hank and Taffy, Troy's sister, had a beautiful baby boy on August 1st. O.C. is his name, after their Grandfather. We are so happy for them, and can't wait for Phin to meet his new cousin!

Nature and Trails

We went out to the trail this morning and took Phin to the Austin Science and Nature center, he had a good time, and was warn out when we got home. It is so hot in the afternoons here, the only time to get out is before 11:00 AM.
