Today we had a party for Phin's 1st birthday, it was a lot of fun...he ate his entire cupcake!!! Grampa joined us for the PHUN!

Phin did great with his first haircut...it didn't hurt that they had Elmo on TV and a firetruck for him to sit in! The last pic his Phin doing his "business"...poor guy he is going to have images of him doing his "business" on the internet forever!!!!

Phin's second 1st Birthday!

 

 

 

 

Phin had his second 1st birthday with Troy's family this weekend, it was lots of fun. He really enjoyed the water at the spray ground park!

Picky Eater

I think he gets it from his Dad...yes of course he does, so he is not a huge fan of texture. We have started to let him feed himself, he only likes Cheerios, crackers, biter biscuits, and of course his baby food. Not a very healthy diet...he does like green beans, so there is hope for him yet!

Bend it like Phin

It's been a week since my last post, as you can tell, I don't have as much time to do this as I once did.
Phin keeps me really busy! He crawls all over the place, reaches for things
that will hurt him, tries to open and close everything that has that
capability, naps only once a day now, is learning to feed
himself...messy. In other words, the picture taking has slowed down, as
well as doing laundry, dishes, cooking dinner, paying bills, grocery
shopping, etc...even though I am not working right now, my house still
manages to get turned upside down...thanks to one busy little Phin.


He is also standing on his own now...not walking yet, but I think that is
just right around the corner. Things he recognizes when we say it, and
will find them...flowers, nose (Daddy's is his favorite), ball,Yzerman of course, book, oh and today he learned light...and how it is turned on and off on and off on and off on and off........


Trying to get a picyure to post while he was napping...it backfired :)

New Kicks

 

 

 

 

Today Phin and I went to the Blanton art museum, it's free on Thursdays. Phin liked the people talking to him more than he liked the art, but he had a good time. We walked around campus a bit, but it was getting hot, so we came home. Phin looks so cute in his new kicks...well he got them before he was born, but can just now fit into them! He gets great pleasure in feeding Yzerman his food, and Yzerman does not mind either. In the top picture, Phin is banging his hands on his tray...he really likes to "play the drums".

Phin enjoyed the mountain air in New Mexico...he took many naps outside on Memaw's lap in the swing...spoiled rotten!
Mia and Phin are becoming closer...or better at competing for attention anyway.
